SEGMENT MANAGER: MARKETING

Our client a leading financial services company is looking for a Segment Manager to develop the annual marketing strategies and activity plans that support profitable growth in the business.

The successful incumbent must have a business or marketing related degree, at least 5 – 7 yrs exp as a Marketing/Brand Manager within financial services or FMCG industry.

You will be responsible for:
• Develops the annual Marketing Strategy and activity plans per segment to support the achievement of business objectives.
• Works with market intelligence to identity new business opportunities through market research.
• Contributes, aligns and launches product solution enhancements and service improvements to the market.
• Develops Through The Line and Media strategy briefs while monitoring its effectiveness on brand health, new business growth and client retention
• Collaborates with business partners on tactical marketing campaigns that increase sales and enhance broker loyalty.
• The segment manager develops strategic relationships with Intermediaries and industry bodies in segments we seek to penetrate.
• Key contact with advertising, public relationships, and media agencies in conjunction with the Marketing Services Manager.

You will be the consistent champion & voice of segment needs when dealing with business decision makers. Improving e collaboration with brokers by balancing client/broker needs and developing plans that help grow profitable businesses.
