Job Description

Leading wealth management and investment team seek a Learning & Development Specialist with current relevant experience in the space. Responsible for L&D development & implementation hereof. Report to the L&D Manager.  Must have current, relevant training consulting experience within investments / insurance space.


Cape Town based.

The role in a nutshell: Responsible for the learning and development through analysis, design, development and implementation. Evaluation of learning solutions, facilitate workshops and training, prepare business proposals, etc. Additional info available on application.


Qualifications and experience required:

  • Minimum of an HR qualification with L&D specialisation / ODETDP qualification and/ or short-term insurance/ investments financial planning qualifications i.e. CFP etc.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a learning specialist role within investments as a trainer
  • Minimum of 8 years financial services experience
  • Must have had solid experience covering: root cause analysis, evaluation of data, designed learning interventions, facilitated workshops and training, prepared and written business proposals, needs analysis, change management, coaching and mentoring financial services staff.
