Global team within the FMCG sector seeks a Communications Director to drive communications. Hand’s-on and strategic involvement, with ability to influence on a global scale. Requires ability to ensure that relevant brand information is dissipated with knowledge, fluidity, quality, accuracy, integrity and in a timeous manner into a global distribution chain. This person will work on systemic communication interventions that includes audio-visual and written product-focused content used by those working on the brand around the world, to reach greater heights. This role has primarily a B2B Communications focus, and will work closely with the MD on current business, also with the R&D team on various projects. Small team / 1 other in the communications team.
The successful candidate will have a post graduate degree from a leading university, an aptitude and interest in editing technical product-related information, exceptional oral and written communication skills, a demonstrable talent for assimilating complex information and developing simple solutions, and a strong commercial orientation. Candidates must be comfortable working in a flat structure (hand’s-on involvement essential), and must have 8+ years relevant B2B Communications experience, ideally within FMCG or similar.
