Our Contingency Search model is aligned to uncovering the best talent quickly. Our process and structures are aligned to this, offering the best opportunity of success. The “no win, no fee” model of Contingency Search often brings good results quickly. Clearly time and resource allocation cannot reasonably compete with that of a dedicated Retained Search assignment, though for the right role (usually junior to mid-level, and skills that aren’t considered “rare”) Contingency Recruitment is a very effective sourcing tool. Our history

Candidate Connect is a Cape Town based recruitment consultancy, servicing clients nationally and internationally. Specialists across : Financial Markets (Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Banking, Life, Insurance), Commercial sectors (FMCG, Manufacturing) and IT / Digital markets.



2000:

Started in 2000, with the core objective (at the time) of bringing South Africans home from abroad. The initial concept was to channel these candidates into SA recruitment agencies who we felt were best positioned to meet their career aspirations.

2001:

This concept evolved rapidly, and in 2001, Candidate Connect transitioned into a full service recruitment consultancy working directly with clients, primarily in the Cape Town and Johannesburg markets.

2010:

The Candidate Connect service expanded to include Project based recruitment work.

2015:

The Candidate Connect service expanded to include placing high quality candidates within International markets, assisting international clients on an ad hoc / skill specific basis.

2016:

The Candidate Connect service expanded to include Retained Search work for rare / hard to find skills.

2019:

The Candidate Connect team is celebrating 19 years of quality partnerships and relationships, developed across clients and candidates. We thank both clients and candidates for all the support over the years, and we remain deeply committed to keeping the personal touch that has got us to where we are today. Offering a personal touch remains core to our philosophy going forward.

2000 – current:

Throughout the various growth and transition phases, the Candidate Connect goal remained constant – to link high calibre candidates to the right company, at the right time, for the right job. And that remains our core focus today as we strive to integrate candidates career aspirations with their passions.
