Rare opportunity to join a small / boutique Private Wealth team, in a hybrid role - Senior Operations role as primary focus, with additional involvement on the investment side - supporting the Investment team with investment support / analytical work. The primary focus will be to take responsibility for the Operational support and administrative support to the Wealth team.  This is a senior role within their business. Given it’s a boutique wealth business, the role is well suited to a mid-level skill to grow with the business. Relevant Operations experience needed within wealth or asset management businesses in order to be up and running quickly (as is needed in this role). Core role function includes: Operational support Liaising with vendors / asset managers on all deals, transactions and client instructions Updating client portfolio information for valuation purposes and for monthly/quarterly reporting Requesting and acquiring all source documentation relevant for client reporting Documenting all correspondence and dealings with clients and communicating with the Directors Investigating / making enquiries on new products / third party offerings requested by the Directorate in response to Client interest Liaising with other ops team members to ensure reports, presentations and other ad hoc deliverables are completed Administrative support Assisting the Directors with client proposals, reviewing drafts and validating formatting prior to delivery Liaising with the Directors on all issues pertaining to client investments, correspondence, requirements and communication Ensuring prompt delivery of client reports and updates Assisting with all administrative tasks as required to run the business in an efficient and optimal manner, including the companys filing system, client database etc. Compliance Monitoring and ensuring all client files are maintained and updated in terms of regulatory requirements (FAIS and FICA) Liaising with third party Compliance service providers, assisting with reporting and adherence to compliance requirements. Updating and managing client records and files in terms of compliance requirements Managing and maintaining the integrity and completeness of all documentation and data in client files Assisting with the preparation for any compliance reports or audits. Client liaison Interacting with clients telephonically, via correspondence or assisting the Directors in client meetings Dealing with sensitive and confidential information Handling administration of clients’ requests for changes in their portfolios such as redemptions and switches. Drafting implementation instructions for client sign-off and reporting on status of transactions. Monitoring, managing and reporting on any transitions that might occur within clients’ portfolios Investment research / analytics (secondary responsibility) Involvement on an adhoc basis on the Investment side of the business - research / analytical support work. Ideal candidate will have no less than 10 years experience in a similar role, and with some team management experience, as well as a good base of cash management and investment admin experience - ideally in a securtieis team (banking, FSP, brokering)! Global company seeks an IP Specialist.  Join a small team responsible for the company's global portfolio of trademarks, domains and all brand protection cases &investigations.  More specifically the IP Specialist will be required to:• instruct and liaise with attorneys across a number of territories on counterfeit and trademark related matters• instruct and liaise with investigators on all related investigations• review, amend and (in some cases) draft legal documents for the various jurisdictions (cease and desist letters, statutory declarations, affidavits, court documents etc)• maintain a master dossier of all active cases (both trademark and counterfeit)• maintain a diary of active cases and conduct follow-ups as necessary• liaise with local trademark attorneys with regards the extensive global portfolio of trademarks - instructing on trademark registrations, oppositions, invalidations etc• propose new brand protection and anti-counterfeiting strategies• assist in the on-going development of the internal systems and communicationsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree and at least eight years post articles experience at eitheran IP law firm or in-house IP/Brand Protection role.
